Obituary for Samuel Lee Jr. Jackson,
Samuel Lee Jackson, Jr., age 60 of Memphis, TN, passed away on August 11, 2014. Mr. Samuel L. Jackson, Jr. was born on July 15, 1954 to the late Samuel Jackson, Sr. and Christine F. Jackson. Samuel spent most of his days working on cars, entertaining family and friends and enjoying life to its fullest. There was not a day that goes by that he would not be watching wrestling or talking about them grandbabies. Samuel accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior prior to departing this life on August 11, 2014. Samuel 'Lil Sammy' was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Samuel 'Lil Sammy' leaves to cherish his memory: a loving wife, Mattie Jackson; one daughter, Myiesha Jackson; one step-daughter, Jennifer Green; one step-son, Armand Green all of Memphis, TN; two brothers, Robert Jackson of Galesburg, Illinois and Willie Jackson, who preceded him in death; three sisters, Renell and Bonnie Jackson of Memphis, TN and Becky Jackson, who preceded him in death; a special aunt Joann Gilbert of Memphis, TN; three grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, other family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15, from 4-6 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2014 all at Harold Ford Funeral Chapel, 1638 Sycamore View Rd.
