Obituary for Rev. Robert Savage
Rev. Robert R. Savage, 64, of Bartlett, TN., born to Willie and Annie B. Savage on October 27, 1950, entered his heavenly home Friday, November 29, 2014. Rev. R. Savage pastored True Glory Ministries at 775 Tanglewood St., Memphis, TN. He graduated from Barrett’s Chapel High School. He is a graduate of Shiloh Theological Seminary. He was a 36 year retired employee of the Shelby County Health Department. He was the Road Manager for blues singer, Johnny Taylor, for 20 years. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sonji Wright Savage; a step-daughter, Melody Lareece Wright; two daughters, LaShanda Savage and Tempestt Savage and two sons, Travis Phillips and Kilyus Patterson. Visitation will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 beginning at 5 PM at True Glory Ministries, 775 Tanglewood Dr. Service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Golden Gate Cathedral, 3240 James Rd.
