Obituary for Jonathan Triplett
JONATHAN TRIPLETT was born December 5, 1987.  He attended Westside High.  He later joined the Tennessee National Guard and served in the Middle East as a Military Police.  When his tour was complete, Jonathan obtained employment at the Shelby County Division of Correction.  Jonathan enjoyed life to the fullest and was a motorcycle enthusiast.  A devoted member of his motorcycle club, he was given the name, Lucky, for his 'happy-go-lucky' attitude.  He would later join another club where he was given the name, Geronimo, for the exhilaration and speed his Suzuki gave him.  On Friday, April 25, 2014, he put his throttle hand up and rode into the sunset to rest in paradise forever.  Jonathan will be forever missed and his memories cherished by his parents, Johnny (Jacquelyn) Triplett and Jacqueline Denise Shipp; his grandmother, Mrs. Enell Robinson; his Fiancé, Maxine Johnson; his children, Lori Triplett and Carrington Johnson; his sisters, Latoya Bandy, Torontoa Triplett, JekitaTriplett, Jamia Flowers; his brothers Belton Triplett, DeMarcus Page, Christopher Green and Leonard 'Chip' Flowers; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends; and his brotherhood of bikers.  Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014 from 4:00-6:30 p.m. at Harold Ford Funeral Chapel, 1638 Sycamore View Rd., Memphis, TN.  On Saturday, May 3, 2014, his remains will lie in state at Keel Avenue Baptist Church, 778 N. Bellevue Blvd., Memphis, TN, beginning at 11:00 a.m. then funeral services will follow at noon.
