Lee Polia Duncan was born on August 8, 1951 in Holly Springs, Mississippi to the late Jim Duncan and Annette Duncan.
He confessed his faith in Christ at an early age. His spiritual journey began at Pleasant Grove MB Church under the leadership of Rev. Samuel Adam Phillips Sr.
Lee was united in love to Roberta Harris, the eternal LOVE of his life!
He was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Annette Duncan, and brother Willie (Bill Bo) Duncan Sr.
Lee leaves to cherish his memories, his loving children, one daughter; Angela Stuckey, and two sons; Lee Polia (Janice) Duncan Jr., and Christopher. Stepchildren, one son; Kenneth (Linda) Harris, and one daughter; Melissa (Maurice) McCall. He also leaves three sisters; Barbara Murdock, Annie Duncan, and Celestine Duncan-Cole, one brother; Jim (Thelma) Duncan III. And a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A special thanks to his daughter, Angela Stuckey, for her attentiveness, strength, love, and support during the times her father needed her the most. We love you!
Lee Polia Duncan was a strong, hardworking man, who spent most of his life earning a living in concrete and construction work. Bearing the unrelenting weather in the Sweltering Hot Heat and the Blustery Winter Cold. This work made and molded him into the Great Man he was. His strength laid the foundation and set the expectation for those of us left carrying the Duncan bloodline. As one of the staples of the Duncan family, his memory will forever live on!
