Dorothy Faye Goforth-Vaughn was born February 26, 1952 to Robert and Pearline (Wright) Goforth.

She departed this life to take upon her new life on Wednesday morning, December 16, 2020.
Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Memphis, Tennessee. She worked most of her life in retail management.
On September 16, 1988 Faye was united In marriage to the late, Carter Ray Vaughn.
Dorothy Faye was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carter Ray Vaughn; two sisters, Gloria Whittamore, and Jennell Goforth; four brothers, Joe Goforth, Paul Goforth, Don Goforth and Ken Goforth.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Lynn Coleman of Memphis, Tennessee; her great-niece who she loved and raised as her own, Brittany Push; and four grandchildren Alejandro, Arianna, Venny, and Isabella Push; two sisters, Brenda Smith (Gary) of Lakeland, Tennessee, Carolyn Watson of Somerville, Tennessee; and one brother, Robert Lee Goforth (Annette) of Ripley, Tennessee; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Ann Goforth and Linda Goforth of Memphis, Tennessee. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
