Uzarya Ellis, age 15, died December 10, 2020.
Uzarya Genetria Ellis A.K.A “Moochie” was born to Darryl Ellis and Ursula Martin on April 24, 2005 in Memphis, Tennessee.
Uzarya gained her wings on Thursday, December 10, 2020. Aside her grandfather William T. Ellis Sr. she was also preceded in death by her brother Deon Ellis.
Uzarya was a smart, loving, sassy, teenager that was full of life. She had a smile and personality that lit up a room. She left a lasting impact on anyone she was in contact with. She was a Sophomore at Douglass High School, on the honors society, member of the beta club and a member of Daughters of Douglass. She was an avid sports player on the volleyball, cheerleading, track team as well as a member of the majorette team.
Uzarya is survived by her grandparents Beverly Goliday, Louise Ellis and Larry Goliday; aunts Andrea Holmes (David) and Deidra Ellis; five sisters: Urania Luckett, Uveceyia Williams (Jermaine), Uquoria Culbreath, Shicara Kidd and Shakayla Ellis all from Memphis, Tennessee; nine brothers: Undrey Murphy, Uvedicus Martin (Brandy), Uaubrey Culbreath, Uzekiel Martin, Udarrion Martin, Udarryl Ellis from Memphis, Tennessee, Darryl Ellis Jr. and Deshaun Ellis from Compton, California; and God uncle Clifford Brown from Florida. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
