Velma Lori Crutchfield, 78, died August 1, 2020.

“The Prettiest Star ⭐️”
Lori as she preferred to be called was born in the small town of Giltedge, TN to Robert Edmun and Mattie McFerson née Wammath on January 3rd, 1942. Lori was one of ten children. She always said she had the happiest childhood. She loved to share memories of her childhood.
Lori loved music of all genres from gospel to rock and roll, she loved dancing, singing and animals. She had the biggest heart and was always there for everyone who needed a friend. She was a devoted wife, mother, nana and sister.
Lori was married to Billy T. Crutchfield for 44 years. Her husband preceded her in death on 23 February 2003. Lori is survived by her only daughter Janis Crutchfield, her precious granddaughter Lauren Crutchfield, her step daughter Evelyn Kay Oliver, her sisters Gloria Miller, Bertha Turk, Brenda Boles, Evelyn Robbins and brother Robert “Dicky” McFerson, many nieces and nephews.
Lori was preceded in death by her sisters Maddis Ruth McPeak, Betty Lou Durham, Robbie Sue Johnson and brother J.P. McFerson.
There will be a Celebration of Life and candle lighting for Lori at a later date TBA.
Lori’s ashes will be scattered at Graceland at the grave of her favourite singer Elvis Presley.
