Shirley M. Shelton, 72, died October 10, 2017.
Shirley M. Falls was born February 2, 1945 in Somerville, TN to the late Robert and Shelley Falls. She accepted Christ at an early age and departed from this earthly home to her new home on October 10, 2017.
Shirley was known by many as Sister, Mae Momma, Auntie and the Jokester. She was employed at Blues Alley for many years and later became employed at Baptist Hospital until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Earl Shelton, Sr., two sons, Gregory D. Falls and Gerald Lester Shelton.In her passing she leaves to cherish, two daughters, Naailla (Jeff) Kornegay and Shelia Richmond. One son, David (Angela) Shelton Sr., two brothers, Robert (Murcinda) Falls and Charles Falls, both of California; one sister, Vernita Campbell of Somerville, TN; stepchildren, Earl Shelton Jr., Shirley Shelton, Ronald Carl Shelton, Jackie Peterson, Sophia Winfrey, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchild, nieces, nephew, cousins, godchildren, relatives and friends.
