Obituary for Robin Sue Housey
Robin Sue Housey, 64, died July 8, 2019.
Robin Sue Housey was born September 28, 1954 to the late John and Ardelia Grant.
On July 8, 2019 Robin went to be with her lord. Robin accepted Christ at an early age. She was a graduate of Douglass High School. Robin was united in holy matrimony to James Lee Housey on May 31, 1997. She devoted her life to her family. She was also a dedicated teacher and the children she taught became an extension of her family.Â
Her mission was education families on keeping our children safe. She was preceded in death by her brother, George Kendle; and one grandchild.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, James Lee Housey; four children, Marcus (Ayalnesh) Manuel, Moneka Mathena, Latoya Mathena, Carla Mathena; three children who were like her own, Tara MAthena, Fredrick (Tamara) Mathena, Tina (William) Sanders; two sisters, Ann Kendle Muldrew of Chicago, IL, Elizabeth Grant Jones of Memphis, TN; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
