March 8, 1937 – April 30, 2024


We are sad to announce the passing of Peggy Ann Farley Billings Coletta, 87, at her home in Memphis, Tennessee after a brief illness.


She has been reunited with God, her parents, Harold Sr. & Lucille Farley, daughter, Barbara A. Cook, brother-in-law, Charlie F. Gentry, sister-in-law, Anne Farley, Grandsons, Montana & Sam Billings, husband, John A. Coletta and former husband, Bobby E. Billings Sr.


Peggy was born March 8, 1937. She was educated, married, and raised her 4 children. She was a formidable Business Owner, beginning as Owner of Whitehaven Auto Glass. Peggy was a renowned Real Estate Broker in Memphis beginning with Century 21 Coletta & Associates and later joining Crye-Leike Realtors. Peggy always received Top Seller Awards and Accolades during her successful Real Estate career.


Peggy enjoyed sports, reading, music, cooking, entertaining and gardening, but was deeply passionate about her family. She took pleasure in helping her family start businesses and buy their own homes. She was a strong-willed individual and was beloved by family and friends.


Peggy’s life continues through and is celebrated by her family. Siblings, Harold E. Farley (Anne) and Patricia Gentry (Charlie). Children, Bobby E. Billings Jr (Renee), Gwen Coletta, and David W. Billings (Paula)


Grandchildren, Tim Cook Jr. (Robin), Michael W. Cook (Claudia), John Christopher Coletta (Dawn), Conner Billings, Jessica Markley (Bill), Steele Billings (Jacqueline) and Elliott Billings (Brandi)


Great Grandchildren, Bella Marie Coletta, Madeline Coletta, Brandon Cook, Kaitlyn Cook, Lori Cook, and Rosalie Billings


Nieces and Nephews, Renee Martin, Geoffrey Farley, Leigh Gentry (Donna), Donald Gentry (Kara), Chris Gentry (Alexis) Caleb Gentry (Shelby), Katie Kieler (Kyle), Jordan Gentry, Justin Gentry and Morgan Gentry.


Peggy will be missed and remembered by her family, friends, and community.


Memorial service will be held at Bellevue Baptist Church Chapel with date to be announced in the near future.
