Obituaries
Mrs. Patricia Lynn Swift (73) transitioned from this life to rest in the care of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She fought a very brave battle with Dementia Alzheimer which was diagnosed in November of 2016, and was cared for in her home with the support of her husband, family, ElderCare Consultants LLC, and Baptist Trinity Palliative/Hospice Care Team; she was well covered with great love and medical care; comfortable until God's angel came to escort her to her rest.
Mrs. Swift leaves to mourn her passing, and celebrate her life her loving devoted husband of 40+yrs. Mr. Tyrone L. Swift Sr., her "MIRACLE" born son Tyrone E. Swift Jr. (Erin), her wonderful stepson Darnell (Mackenzie) Jones who entreated her as a Queen; she loved him dearly as her own son. She's leave 5 siblings; her devoted brother Carlton (Liz), Nathaniel, Ronald (Carolyn), Carolyn (Leon), and Harold.
SPECIAL thanks/gratitude to her longtime devoted best friend Ms. Alene Greene, and also her dedicated family friend Ms. Anne Allen (Afiya) who visited with her often; these ladies were stedfast devoted, and supportive to her and husband in every way. Also Mrs. Swift maintained a very longstanding (over 30yrs) unique friendship with her former FedEX Boss Mr. Waymon Duffie who was a very committed/dedicated friend to her, and husband; always texted, called, and kept in touch with her.

Mrs. Swift accepted Christ by her faith, confessions, repentance received her 'Born Again' experience in 1982; baptised in Jesus name for the remission of her sins, and was filled with the precious gift of the Holyghost (Acts 2:37-38). She continued learning of Christ, and built a very strong prayer-fasting-witnessing life; winning many souls to the Lord, and gaining new friendships everywhere. Mrs. Swift possessed such a kind, tender, gracious, friendly/cordial character that it attracted people across her path always; ready to always befriend, encourage, and pray for them.
Mrs. Swift presence and friendship will be greatly missed, but her memories will live on. We're all pleased to have been a part of her life in so many wonderful, ways: God always worked miracles around, and through her life, but God chose His time to say to her, "well done thy good and faithful servant" time to take your rest from your Earthly labour; God entered her into His eternal rest to await HIs triumphant return for His Church.
