Michael V. Hayes was born on May 28, 1955 to Mr. and Mrs. Clarence O. Hayes, Jr. He passed away October 16, 2022. He confessed in Christ at an early age. He graduated from Hamilton High in 1974. He got his first job at Springer Bro’s Nursery that he loved so very much. He left there and went to Firestone Tire and Rubber, where he worked for a few years and went on to his final job at City of Memphis, where he worked for 30 years and retired.
Michael was a great loving, caring, fun, energetic and funny person. He was a good father and father figure to most. He had a big heart and didn’t mind giving and helping others.
Michael Hayes married the love of his life, Randi Hayes in 2006. He has two sisters, Anita C. Wicks and Donna Ray Hayes, who preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Randi Hayes; sister, Sheron Moore-Wilson (Doremus); two daughters, Tamara Hayes and Tasha Hayes; a host of other daughters, sons; a niece, Dia Rogers; two nephews, Charles Moore and Jerald White; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
