Obituary for Lillie Marie Walk
Lillie Marie Walk, 77, died July 31, 2019.
Lillie Marie Walk was born June 7, 1942 to the union of Claude Talbert Sr and Marie Talbert in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a graduate of Hamilton High School and attended Lemoyne Owen College. She later became a nurse and worked at several local hospitals. She retired from the VA Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
In 1964, she was united in holy matrimony to George Blain Walk for eighteen years. To this union three children were born. She was a loving and caring wife and mother. As a mom, she was funny and loved to sing her Motown music. She enjoyed reading and going on family vacations. She always took advantage of an opportunity to teach a life lesson. When people speak of her, they always mention her kind spirit.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Tonia Walk Howell and Anne Marie Walk; one son, George Eric Walk; one son-in-law, Mike Howell; and one granddaughter, Megan Howell.
