Obituary for Kenneth Lee Swift
Kenneth Lee Swift, 44, died January 28, 2020.
Kenneth Lee Swift made his transition on January 28, 2020. He was the proud son of Vester Lee Swift and Judy Mae Anderson Swift. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Mae Anderson Swift.
He professed a hope in Christ at an early age at Vollintine Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. W.M. Fields. While a member at Vollintine Missionary Baptist Church, he sang in the children’s choir. He later became a member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church with his father under the leadership of Rev. Basil G. Brooks.
He will always be remembered as a man of few words, but yet emotional. He had a love for cars, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Memphis Grizzlies, and his dog, “Tessa”. He enjoyed going fishing with his father.
He graduated from Northside High School, Class of 1994, whereby he was a Linebacker #52 on the Cougar Football Team.
He was a former employee of the FedEx Forum. He was recently employed with Cohesive Networks 2 Inc.
Kenneth’s memory will be cherished by: His parents, Vester and Theresa Swift; His siblings, Maleka Daniel and Larry Daniel, Jr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
