Sunrise…
Hazel Pamela Bunton was born December 9, 1945, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late John Johnson and Mary McLemore-Johnson.
A Life Well Lived…
Hazel graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. She would then excel and find her passion in a career as a Paralegal for Hoffman, McWhorter & Weiner Law Firm. She absolutely loved working at the law firm and would often talk about her time there. She continued her career at K97 Radio Station where she worked in Commercial Advertisement. After relocating to Cleveland, OH in 1986, while employed with the Urban Housing Authority, she would often volunteer within her community. Hazel would later return to Memphis, TN in 1994 and worked for Federal Express. She retired in 2012. During her retirement she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Hazel was a proud member of Power Center Church under the leadership of Pastor Porter. She was always extremely particular about her appearance, whether it was her hair, makeup, clothes, or nails. Hazel Bunton was going to make sure she was on point!
