Eugene Maxwell was born February 2, 1953 to Ruthie Mae Maxwell Thorton.
He confessed his trust in God at an early age at St. Paul MB Church in Olive Branch, MS.
He departed his life Monday March 18, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto. Eugene was preceded in death by his mother, Ruthie Mae Maxwell Thorton; his grandparents, Lawyer Maxwell, Luella Saulsberry Maxwell, and Bobbie (Doll) Isom; uncles and aunts, Piera Maxwell, Jimmy Clarence Maxwell, L.C. Maxwell, Bobby Malone, and Josephine Malone.
He leaves to cherish his memories, two brothers, Paul Edward Maxwell of Southaven, MS, and David O’Neal Maxwell (Youvone) of Cordova, TN; one niece, Yatishi Milner (Derrick); four great-nieces, Cailyn, Taylor, McKenzie, Sydney Milner of Plano, TX; nephews, Travis Reeves Sr. of Paris, TN, and Leonard David Maxwell of Cordova, TN; one great-nephew, Travis Reeves Jr. of Memphis, TN; one uncle, Lee Andrew Maxwell of Hernando, MS; two aunts, Dorothy Malone of Memphis, TN and Jenni Malone of Los Angeles, CA; and a host of relatives and friends that will miss him greatly
