Eleanor L. Bischel, Age 91, Died November 18, 2023.
Eleanor Bischel, age 91, passed away peacefully at her home on November 18, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Hannah Lane, her sister, JoAnn Namey, and her son, Mark Bischel. Eleanor is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years, John, and her loving children, Colleen Hobbs and Michael Bischel.
She leaves behind a legacy of family and love, cherished by her grandchildren, Joseph Mueller, Sierra Mueller, and Amy Kurrelmeyer, as well as her beloved great-grandchildren, Preston and Jackson Mueller. Eleanor was a dedicated member of St. Ann's Catholic Church for 50 years.
Throughout her life, Eleanor contributed to her community with unwavering commitment. She dedicated many years to service with the Shelby County Election Commission, taking pride in her role and leaving a lasting impact. Her warm spirit, kindness, and dedication to family and community will be dearly missed.
May she rest in eternal peace.
