Obituary for Della Mae Taylor
Della Taylor, 83, died June 2, 2021.

Della was born the last of six children to the late Pinkie Dockery & Mitchell Taylor in Byhalia, Mississippi. She is also the last to be called to her eternal rest. Della accepted Christ at an early age at St. Matthew Baptist in Byhalia, Mississippi. She graduated from the Geeter High School in Memphis, TN and obtain her higher education degree at Rust College Holly Springs, Mississippi.
She later moved from Memphis, Tennessee to Chicago, Illinois in 1967. There she was employed by the United States Postal Service for twenty-five years. After her retirement she moved back to Memphis, Tennessee and found employment at St. Peters Villa Nursing Home for eight years.
Della’s five siblings: James, Cleveland, Samuel, Earnest and Iola all preceded her in death. Nonetheless, she has many cousins, nieces and nephews to cherish her memories.
She had a few addresses but now she is in her permanent home resting with her heavenly Father.
Final Resting place: Serenity Columbarium and Memorial Garden (Scattering Garden).
