Clinton Graham, age 75, passed November 25, 2023.
Clinton Edward Graham Sr. was born November 1, 1948 in Jackson Tennessee, to the late Edna Currie and Leonard F. Reid. Even though Jackson was his home, he moved to Detroit, Michigan at the age of 9 and was educated in the Detroit Public School system. Where he was raised by his father and his stepmom, the late Nettie Reid. After graduating from Eastern High School, he enrolled in the United States Navy and honorably served for four years before being honorably being discharged in 1971. Clinton had many accomplishments. Before working for AAA of Michigan where he retired after 27 years, he worked for Chrysler as a line supervisor for many years, he volunteered at his children’s school, obtained his Associates Degree from Henry Ford Community College, established his own home repair business, and he had a mean green thumb. He managed a beautiful garden in his back yard full of vegetables and in his free time he loved to fish and hunt. He also had a ridiculous number of pets, including his beloved German shepherds, his prize aquarium, and his hunting dogs. Clinton was a jack of all trades, there wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix or anything he couldn’t do.
Clinton leaves to cherish in his memory: former wife, Dewarna Jean Graham (who preceded him in death) their children Felicia Forrest (Edward), Crystal Williams, Andrea Thompson (Melvin who preceded him in death) and April Graham. His former wife, Bernice C. Lewis and their children Clinton Graham Jr. and Aisha Graham. He also had a special goddaughter, Patrice Ford Watson (Keel). His14 grandchildren: Whitney Forrest, Edward Forrest Jr, Lauren Williams, Anthony Merkerson II, Ashley Graham, Arin Plummer, Andrew Thompson, Xavier Overton, Acacia Graham, Alan Roberson, Alexander Roberson, Darious Waters, Dorian Waters, and Gabrielle German. He was blessed with 11 great grandchildren.
He also leaves his brothers and sisters: Barbara G. Nance. Wheatley “Pete” Graham (Virginia), and Eva Faye Thomas. His siblings that proceeded him death are: Beverly G. Brown, Albert Collins Sr., and Franklin Hubert Collins, a host of nieces and nephews, including, a special niece Lorrecia Brown and a special nephew and hunting buddy William Comer.
