On June 10, 1960, Clifton McGaughy was born to Elivena McGaughy and James McGaughy in Lake Cormorent, Mississippi. He moved to Memphis, Tennessee and became a member of Redemption Christian Church until his death. He leaves to celebrate memories of his life his wife, Katie Mae Givens; one son, Clifton; one daughter, LaQuita Parker; five stepchildren, David, Tavares, Katrice, Maurice, and Evelina; one granddaughter Jamaya; three grandsons, Jarvis, Kalab, and Jaylan; two brothers, James (Lilly) McGaughy and Elber (Ann) McGaughy; three sisters, Clara McGaughy, Queen Jesus, and Lucille (Joe) Gant; three aunties, Leeretha Neal, Queen Richardson, and Brenda Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
