Obituaries
Mrs. Barbara J. Dotson was born on September 17, 1948 to Charles and Yvonne G. Banks, who preceded her in death. Barbara was the oldest of nine siblings. She leaves to cherish her memories: a daughter, Latonya Callicutt and a son, Terrance Wallace, both of Memphis, TN; two grandchildren: Jeffrey B. Callicutt and Janai N. Callicutt of Florida; two sisters: Brenda Banks and Elaine Banks; one brother: Tyrone Banks, all of Memphis, TN; a very special friend and neighbor, Ricky Lott, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
Barbara was a proud graduate of Booker T. Washington High School of Memphis and served as a dietitian at both St. Joseph Hospital and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for more than 40 years until she retired.
She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew and loved her!
