Obituary for Barbara Cecelia Reid
Barbara Cecelia Reid, 61, passed away February 26, 2015.Barbara Cecilia Reid was the daughter of the late Kurt and Maria Schnur born in Pforzheim, West Germany. In 1977, she met the love of her life Michael L. Reid Sr. She later moved to Memphis, TN and married the one who stole her heart on February 15th, 1980. For 13 years she enjoyed working as a child care provider until she became a full-time housewife. As a housewife she continued to be a loving support system to those around her. She leaves three sons, Ronald Schnur, George Schmidt, and Michael L. Reid Jr., two step-daughters Lashandra and Takasha Reid, a daughter-in-law Elizabeth Reid, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of extended sons. Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2015. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Serenity Funeral Home, 1638 Sycamore View Rd., Memphis, TN 38134. Tel. (901)379-0861
