Archie Lee Rome, Jr. was born September 30, 1955 in Memphis, TN, the youngest of four children born to Archie Lee Rome, Sr. and Mary Louise Lovett Rome. He accepted Christ at an early age and attended Greater Calvary MB Church. Archie grew up in North Memphis and graduated from Northside High School in 1975.
He leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife, Kimberly V. Jackson-Rome, two children Briana Rome and Brandon Keith ; 2 sisters, Barbara Cox of Atlanta, GA and Gertie Caruthers of Memphis, TN; his Father-In-law T.J. Jackson; Mother-In-Law Mary Jackson, brother-in-law Terrance Jackson (Laquita); sister-in-law Cheryl Young of Memphis, TN; nieces, Laura Armstrong, Memphis, TN and Quincey Cox of Holly Springs, MS, Dastiny Brooks, Tania Jackson and Tierraney Jackson of Memphis, TN; nephews, Andre Rainey of Rosebush, MI and William Yarbrough of Memphis, TN and Tremaine Jackson of Southaven, MS; a host of great nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
