Obituary for Roger England
Roger Dean England, 70, of Olive Branch, Mississippi, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017. Roger is survived by his wife of 48 years Christa; his three children, Sabrina, Roger-Dean the 2nd (Beth) and Jeffery (Bridgette); seven grandchildren, Alexis, Asheton, Roger Dean the 3rd, Garrett, Dalton, Gabriel and Jacob; and his loyal companion, Tag. Also surviving are two sisters, Lois (Dale), Ladson and Debbie (James), Meredith; and 5 brothers, Ron England (Elaine), Rick England (Linda), Randy England, Benjamin England and Turner Charles England (Julia); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benny and Molly England; and brother-in-law, Dale Ladson.
Roger was born Sept 16, 1946 in Warsaw Indiana. He grew up in Pierceton, Indiana. He served in the Army Military Police, and returned home in 1969. He then worked for R.R. Donnelley’s for 25 years, and Quebecor World for 21 years.
Roger was a much loved husband, father and grandfather who questioned why grandchildren didn’t come first as they were so much fun. He loved animals, especially horses, dogs and birds. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the children’s or animal charity of the donor’s choice.
